We’re excited to welcome your family to Mandurah Catholic College as you begin the transition into Year 7 in 2026.
Year 7 Theme
The College believes in nurturing the wellbeing, strengths, and gifts of all our students as essential elements of our Catholic Identity. The College's Pastoral Care program sees each year level focussing on a different age-appropriate developmental theme to support the holistic growth of students into caring, responsible members of society. The College strives to empower students with the information required to make healthy, positive choices and aid in their current and ongoing wellbeing.
Students need to have a sense of belonging for wellbeing and success. They need to learn to trust and feel included and valuable to the community. Students are guided to become a valuable member of the Mandurah Catholic College community and learn to belong and contribute positively. Students are also given the opportunity to participate in the Peer Support program with Year 11 students. Staged events in student growth:

Year 7 Transition Camp - Date TBC
Participation in the Transition Camp Program is mandatory for all Year 7 students at Mandurah Catholic College. This program is a key component of their induction into the College and facilitates their transition from primary school.
As part of the process, parents and guardians will receive an invitation via Consent2Go in November. This platform is used to collect essential medical details and emergency contact information. Please note: Completion of the Consent2Go form is compulsory for all guardians.Students will be divided into two gender-based groups:
Group 1 (Boys): Monday, 10 February to Wednesday, 12 February 2025.
Group 2 (Girls): Wednesday, 12 February to Friday, 14 February 2025.

All students who have no siblings currently enrolled at MCC will be allocated a House and will find out on Orientation Day which house they are in.

You will receive an email when your child starts at MCC. You can set up a direct debit and make regular payments.

Uniforms can be purchased directly from the authorised supplier’s premises, Tara Uniforms, Unit 16 / 8 Magenta Terrace, Mandurah (behind Officeworks). Online Ordering is available 24/7 online.

None, the College is starting a College Managed Device Program (CMD) in 2025. All information can be found on the ILT website.

They will have their photo taken on the first day of school. The smart rider will be received and issued in the second week. It is not necessary to purchase your own smart rider in the interim, cash is accepted on the buses.
