Throughout their time at school, we may photograph or film our students for publications, such as the school’s newsletter, College Annual or external school website, social media sites, and/or to promote the school in newspapers and other media. It is important to note that:

• We try and focus on sharing group photos unless an individual is being celebrated

• We try and focus on activity-based/ educational photos

• We rarely publish a student’s full name (with the exception of our internal publications, Inspire Yearbook and some other relevant instances)

• We use first names for celebrating a student achievement on social media. A student’s full name may occasionally be used on social media if it has already been publicly acknowledged e.g., named in a state sporting team online and they/parents have given permission for the College to celebrate their achievement.

At the time of enrolment, parents gave permission for the use of their child’s photography in the platforms and instances listed above. If you would like to update your child/children’s photo/video permissions, please complete the form below so we have a current record of permissions in our system.

Every effort is made to ensure we only distribute media of students that we have permission for. At any time, you may request to have a photo taken down from our social media sites or school website. This can be done by emailing staff at mccmpr@cewa.edu.au.
