The College's first intake of students began their studies in February 1992. Students at this stage were housed in the Church Parish while the final touches were completed at the College site. The move across to the new facilities took place in the April of 1992 bringing wit it some 56 students and 4 staff. The inspiration for the foundation of the College came from Bishop Quinn, the Bishop of Bunbury. It was his vision, coupled with immense support from the Mandurah Catholic Community, that saw the initial transformation of this 12 hectare site of natural Australian bushland into the beautiful and growing school that we have today. |

THE PATRONAGE OF THE HOLY FAMILY
| The Holy
Family is a symbol and example of what we, as Christians and Catholics,
can aspire to become in the daily living of our lives.
The Holy Family was chosen as our patron to be an inspiration to the students and staff in their pursuit of learning and faith development.

THE CREST AND MOTTO
| The Crest of the
College is a cross within a circle. The cross symbolises the sacrifice
that we, as Christians, must make to ensure that we leave this world a
better place, while the circle symbolises the eternal and all-encompassing
nature of our God.
The motto "Seek Truth", comes directly from the aims of the College. There is always a need to "seek", with the word itself implying an effort and willingness to work according to one's capacity. "Truth" is the object of all discovery, and the ultimate truth is God, who is the object of our seeking.
